Tempest Hausley-Burgin, 34, of Asheville passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021.
Tempest was born September 19, 1987 in Buncombe County. She was a member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was involved with the youth. She loved God, her family, fashion, and dogs. Tempest also loved anime, painting, flowers, and was a lover of nature and life. She worked in the Kennel industry for over 15 years.
Tempest was preceded in death by her father, James Hausley; sister, Angela Edmunds; maternal grandmother, Catherine Burgin and paternal grandparents, RJ and Louise Hausley.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Hausley; sisters, Aaliyah Hausley and Jacqueline Freeman; maternal grandfather, Henry J. “Pawpaw” Burgin; niece, Jania Edmunds; nephew, Ja’Keyln Freeman; several aunts and uncles, special “travel” buddies and a host of relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00pm at Mills Chapel Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service time. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of K9 and CICU of Mission Hospital and her Buckeye Kennel family.
