Obituary for Thomas "Tom" Ferreira
Thomas “Tom” Ferreira, 72, of Swannanoa, went home to be with the Lord on June 5, 2022.
Tom was born November 18, 1949 in Aiken, SC. He was a simple man who worked hard for his family. Tom was kind to everyone and a friend to all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ferreira and Sayle Titter; and aunts, Germaine and Natalie Ferreira of New Bedford, MA.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Lynne Ferreira of the home; daughter, Michelle Thomas of the home; son, Michael Williams of Marion; eight grandchildren of Marion; “special daughter”, Valerie White of Black Mountain; sister, Diana Ferreira of Orlando, FL; brother, Dr. Joseph Ferreira (Patricia) of Loganville, GA; aunt, Olive Figeruedo of New Bedford, MA; one nephew and numerous nieces.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. The family will not be present but would like to invite his family and friends to pay their respects at this time.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11:00am at Mountain View Memorial Park.
