Obituary for Dorothy Coe Boyd

Dorothy Coe  Boyd
Dorothy Mai Coe Boyd passed away early Friday morning at her home in Montreat.
She is preceded in death by her husband Spencer W. Boyd, Jr. and grandson, Joshua Boyd.
She is survived by six sons and ten grandchildren.
Dorothy was born in Portland, OR and moved to Atlanta where she and Spencer directed Keywayden Camp. In 1977 they purchased Camp Merri-Mac where they served as the camp directors until their retirement in 2000.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Harwood Home for Funerals, followed by a 2:00 p.m. service at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Swannanoa. A graveside service at Ridgecrest Cemetery will follow.
