Vinie “Maw” Pullium, 100, of Swannanoa, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Mrs. Pullium was born April 2, 1914 in Cherokee County. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and helping others.
Vinie is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Callie Lunsford; and husband, Lono Bill Pullium.
She is survived by five sons, Frank (Alma) of New London, NC, Woodrow of Lithia Springs, GA, Harold (Carol) of Old Fort, NC, Earl (Katie) of Black Mountain, NC, and Carl (Annette) of Swannanoa, NC; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Lakewood Baptist Church with the Reverend Ray A. Hipps officiating. Burial will be in Sky View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the service time at the church.
