Obituary for Tommy Carroll Anderson

Tommy Carroll  Anderson
Tommy Carroll Anderson, 54, of Black Mountain passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014.
Mr. Anderson was born November 12, 1960 in Buncombe County to Betty Jean Wright Anderson and the late Bobby Carroll Anderson.
Tommy was employed with Southern Lighting at the time of his passing and throughout his career was employed with Moss Sign Co. and Summey Outdoor Advertising. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, and he was an avid Duke Basketball fan. He loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing his faith of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Tommy was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and attended Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Anderson.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Swink Anderson; daughter, Jennifer Anderson Proctor (Michael) of Old Fort; son, Jonathan Thomas Anderson of Candler; mother, Betty Jean Wright Anderson; brothers, Gary Anderson (Sherry), Steve Anderson (Brenda), Tony Anderson, Kevin Anderson (Amy) and their families; and grandchildren, Kennedy Michelle and Isabella Elaine Proctor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Royal and Rev. Craig Bulkeley officiating. Burial will be in Nesbitts Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
At other times, the family will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 32 Church Road, Fairview, NC 28730.
