I, as most people, am speechless over the early passing of Kevin. My sleep has been disrupted and tears flowing down my cheeks just as untimely as his death.
I can honestly and unequivocally give a testament that I could not have loved Kevin any more if he were my brother by blood. We enjoyed many great weekends cooking & eating great food while watching football together. Kevin has made me a life-long Broncos fan which was his favorite team. Kevin always said that our little "week-end relief" was quite a motley crew. We were (are) motley and Kevin was a distinctive spice in the crew. He is going to be GREATLY missed; especially when next fall begins to mark our time to begin weekends together.
I never heard a person say they didn't like Kevin. He was always kind-hearted and polite almost to a fault. But, he also knew business and was serious about it. He was never lacking for love that I have seen.
I met most of Kevin's family on some occasion or another. And I see from where his genuineness stems. And I met the love of his life, Effin; in which emerged my love for a new sister. Kevin was blessed with good people throughout his life.
I am going to miss you Man. And I wish there was something more I could do to help you with your further travels. But, I guess I will have to wait for you to show me around the road later when I see you again.
