Mary Frances Burleson Thomas, 61, of Swannanoa passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015.
Mrs. Thomas was born October 5, 1953 in Buncombe County to the late Leonard and Cuba Neese Burleson.
She was employed with Kearfott for over 30 years. Mary was a loving child of God who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Max Burleson.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ray Thomas; daughter, Heather Boyer (Timothy) of Asheville; son, Chris Thomas (Candace) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; and grandchildren, Caleb Thomas and Jaime Boyer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 12:30pm at Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church with Pastors Randy Stone, Chris Thomas, Robert Thomas and Frank Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Harwood Home for Funerals.
