Obituary for Betty Ownsbey Moores
Betty Ownsbey Moores, 71, of Swannanoa, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
Mrs. Moores was born May 13, 1944 in Buncombe County to the late Charles and Blanche Burgin Ownsbey. She was a 1962 graduate of Charles D. Owen High School and attended AB Tech. Betty retired as a quality control research developer from Beacon Manufacturing.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Moores; and brother, Carroll Ownsbey.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Nancy Ownsbey of Swannanoa, and Charlene Marlowe of Hendersonville; brother, Charles Ownsbey of Swannanoa; niece, Michelle Lutz (John); great niece and nephew, Angela and Isaiah Lutz.
