Andy’s warm heart, contagious smiles and genuine concern and love for children are a special part of our family’s fond memories of Montreat Morning School where Andy volunteered as a greeter. He was a truly special man.
Being among those so blessed and fortunate to have called Andy "friend," I am most grateful to have known him as my brother in Christ. I love you, Andy. See you in Heaven!

Dear Andy, You have been a blessing to my life and so many others. I know you are having a great time reuniting with Hellon and your other loved ones. Praise God for your life and the inspiration you have given us all through your strong faith and love.
I was honored to have been friends with this incredible individual. His stories that he told will be remembered by all those who had the honor of meeting Mr. Andrews. Thank you for your service sir. God bless you. Rest in Peace sir.
Mr A had an indelible positive influence on my life. I will never enter the Gate and fail to whisper a prayer of thanksgiving for his life, Mrs A's, and the special place that they helped to create and preserve known as Montreat.
It doesn't matter how long you live, but how well you do it. Andy did it right and was the shining hero example for hundreds of students...including me
