Jerlean “Jeri” M. Gadd, 75 of East Flat Rock, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
Mrs. Gadd was born April 15, 1941 in McDowell County and was a resident of Asheville for most of her life. She was in the 1959 graduating class of Biltmore High School. After graduating, she served in the United States Air Force. Jeri was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her son, Richard D. Gadd.
Jeri is survived by her loving husband, W. Don Gadd; daughters, Teri McInnis (Steve) of Asheville and Pamela Whitehead of Arden; sister, Dot Bradley of Hickory; grandchildren, Andrea, Brennan, Megan, and Haley; and great grandchild, Madison.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Allen Rash officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service.
