Arbie Huffman of Asheville, went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2016. He was 70 years old.
Arbie was a loving husband, father and brother who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Huffman and Hettie Huffman Frady; step father, Joe Frady; daughter-in-law, Mandy Huffman (wife of Carl Huffman); siblings, Gordon Huffman and Kathy Duckett.
Arbie is survived by his wife, Kathy Brooks Huffman; sons, Carl Huffman and Matthew Huffman (girlfriend Tara Lingerfeldt); siblings, Kenneth Huffman (Bobbie Jean), Thelma Shook (George), Larry Huffman, and Doug Huffman (Jan); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Grandview Baptist Church in Alexander. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
