James Willard Fisher, 67, of Black Mountain passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016.
James was born in Asheville and lived all of his life in Buncombe County. He was a veteran of the US Army, receiving an honorable discharge. He was a longtime family man and friend to all who knew him.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen Fisher of 34 years; four sisters, Karen Roberts, Sandy King, Kathy Penland, and Lois Davis; sons, Mitchell Joseph Roberts and wife Devan Roberts and Steven Warsco; five grandchildren, Courtney, Jonathan, Ashley Nicole and Nicholas Devan Michael Roberts, and Joseph Warsco; three great grandchildren, Keirra Handcock, Kaedyn Roberts, and Braydyn Roberts; along with several nieces and nephews, Stephanie Penland, Jennifer Harkins, Tracie Franklin, Amanda Davis, Steven King, and Eric Davis.
May he rest in peace along with his mother and father, Carl and Emma Fisher.
