Lee and I knew Clif and Virginia through Lee's folks, Howard and Hannah. Clif and Virginia always welcomed us as friends whenever we visited Florida or NH. We last visited Clif in NC in 2014 when we were back east. We joined Clif for Sunday dinner after he showed us around. He was especially proud of his tomato plants! We went to lunch early as it was Sunday and we needed to get settled before the Presbyterians returned from church. We were saddened when our Christmas card to him was returned. He was a joy to know
