Obituary for Franklin M. Davis
Franklin M. Davis, 71, of Marshall, formerly of Black Mountain passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016.
Mr. Davis was born November 20, 1944 in Buncombe County to the late Walter and Elizabeth Melton Davis.
Franklin loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed visiting the elderly. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Davis and brothers, Stanley and Bill Davis.
Franklin is survived by his siblings, Dorothy, Edna, Betty, Ransom and Jerry.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Burial will follow immediately after the service.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:30am, Tuesday, at Harwood Home for Funerals prior to the service.
