Obituary for Kimberly Diane "Kim" Franklin (Hudgins)

Kimberly Diane "Kim"  Franklin (Hudgins)
Kimberly D. Franklin (Kim), age 43, of Marion, NC gained her angel wings peacefully at home on Sunday, January 8, 2017.
Kim is survived by her husband, Steve Bedwell; her father, Ronald Hudgins; her bassett hound, Jed; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Ilia Hunnicutt Hudgins; and sister, Vickie Hudgins.
Kim grew up in Fairview, NC and is a 1991 graduate of AC Reynolds High School. She was a member of Swannanoa Church of God where she was a Sunday School teacher and choir member.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Swannanoa Church of God with Rev. Robert Haynie and Rev. Randy Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fairview, NC.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service time on Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swannanoa Church of God, West Virginia Missions Fund, PO Box 314, Swannanoa, NC 28778.
