Obituary for Donald Marion Cook
Donald Cook, 63, of Marshall passed away Monday, January 30, 2017.
Mr. Cook was born October 2, 1953 in Buncombe County to the late Marion and Janlee Cook. Donald was a veteran of the US Navy and loved to fish.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Cook.
Donald is survived by his wife of 41 years, Darlene Cook; children, Kalan Cook, Joseph Cook and Donald Cook, Jr. (Mona); sister, Connie Ballew (Sam); and six stepsisters and brothers, Robert, Gregg, Sonny, Jeff, Debbie, and Renee.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery where burial will be held immediately following the service.
