Garnold “G.G.” Kelly, 80, of Fairview, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at John F. Keever Solace Center.
Mrs. Kelly was born April 27, 1933 in Buncombe County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Leander and Carmie Chatham Guffey; son, James Onley Weaver and many brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, John Joseph “Jack” Kelly, Jr. of the home; daughters, Patricia Rouse (Chuck) of Summerfield, FL and Robin Sleeth (Bobby) of Summerfield, FL; sons, Skip Weaver (Penny) of Hypoluxo, FL and Brian Weaver (Debbie) of Fort McCoy, FL; a brother, Gordon Onley Guffey of Fairview; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with the Reverend Tommy Guffey officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
