I learned of Lanny's passing from my former coworker and friend, Allen Pounders, who I worked with in Lanny's Tech Pubs department at Asheville, Industries, Inc. As Allen said, Lanny was the best supervisor I have ever had. I know everyone in his department is saddened to learn of Lanny's passing as am I.
