I bought the house in Feb 2002 from the Kuhn’s who bought it so Dr. and Mrs. Scott could move to Black Mtn. I have lived there since, briefly with my mother, who had moved from California.
I strongly feel the Scott’s presence, having discussed some features of the house with him and spent many Christmases there with my family and friends, especially Laura Boosinger, who went to school at Warren Wilson College with Betsy Scott. I also display a Japanese Scroll and the lithographs of “The Wide Horizon” and plates that the Scotts left when they moved.
I have loved and enjoyed this wonderful home and am, reluctantly, preparing to move to a smaller space.
My condolences to the family for their loss.
