Eller Inez Marlowe Davis, 83, of Swannanoa, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015.
Mrs. Davis was born April 27, 1931 in Buncombe County to the late Clyde H. and Ruth Taylor Marlowe. Eller was a gifted woman. She retired from Kearfott as an inspector and was a member of Grove Stone Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Eller is survived by her husband, Homer H. Davis; daughter, Doris M. Rudd of SC; sisters, Ruby Gilliam of Broad River, Peggy Searcy of Shelby, Katie Burch of FL, and Hazel Sherrill of TX; grandchildren, Penny Miller of SC and Robert English Jr. of SC; seven great grandchildren; and special niece, Phyllis Owenby.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with the Rev. James Lamb officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
