Susan (Susie) Clark Hensley of Chesnee, SC, passed away on July 13, 2015. She was born in Asheville, NC to Freddy and Shirley Clark.
Susie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Florrie Rickman; and her paternal grandparents, J.C. and Ruth Clark all of Black Mountain.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mark Hensley; daughters, Alicia and Jennifer Hensley all of the home; brother, Robbie (Susan) Clark; sister, Beverly (Gerald) Wheeler all of Old Fort; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Susie was a graduate of Charles D. Owen High School class of 1989. She was a RN in Labor and Delivery. Susie loved to sew and do crafts. She attended Switzer Baptist Church in Moore, SC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Pastor George McDowell officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be private at the family cemetery in Madison County, NC.
