Nova Ruth Pace, born on April 2, 1928 in Del Rio, TN to Arthur S. and Emily Gowan, went to be with Jesus on July 22, 2015.
Ruth was an excellent poet and found joy in blessing others with her work. She held God’s word near to her heart and found special joy in her flowers, gardening and take care of God’s small creatures.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald; son, Don; and brothers, Buddy and Junior.
Ruth will be truly missed by her two children, Beverly and David; granddaughter, Dawn (Bobby); great granddaughters, Erin (Baylen) and Sarah; and her dear sisters, Viola, Maude and Dorothy.
A service in her honor will be held at Harwood Home for Funerals in Black Mountain on Monday, July 27, 2015 with visitation starting at 2 pm and the service at 3 pm.
