Ollie Mae Carroll Roberts, 83, born in Murphy, Cherokee County, NC in 1932, resided in Asheville, NC went to be with the Lord Friday, July 8, 2016.
Ollie was employed at Banner House and Connie Fashions as a seamstress for many years.
Her love was to her late beloved husband, Paul of 60 years. They lived together on Town Mountain Rd. in Asheville for 55 years where they raised their 3 children, Shirley Sprouse (Joe), Thelma Hunter, and Pearson Roberts (Tobie). She was a devoted grandmother to Teresa Erickson (Travis), Walter Sprouse (Talitha), Greg Roberts, Amanda Penland, and Brenna and Olivia Morrow; great grandchildren, Courtney Sprouse, Samantha Roberts, Dillion Roberts, Spencer Sprouse, Jadyn Erickson; and one great-great granddaughter, Payton Roberts.
A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 6-8pm at Harwood Home for Funerals. The funeral service will be Monday, July 11, 2016 at 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park in Black Mountain, NC following the service.
