Drew Regan Lawson, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
Mr. Lawson was born in Madison County on August 15, 1943 to the late Albert and Pearl Lawson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Drew was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from Ball Corp. He attended Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his loving wife, Judy Sams Lawson; daughter, Tammy Stone (Gollie) of Swannanoa; son, Tony Lawson (Vicki) of Asheville; siblings, Edith Gregory (Clyde), Martha Culbertson (Bill), and Johnny Lawson (Betty) all of Hot Springs; and four grandchildren, Cody Lawson (Jennifer), MiKayla Lawson, Sidney and Emily Stone.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Stone and Rev. Frank Cantrell officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
