I too remember Bobby from first grade in Charles C Bell. We were fairly close later in the CC Bell years. Always one to be easy to be friends with. Rarely did he speak a harsh word. Rarely did he hesitate to comfort someone feeling taken advantage of. He also seldom accepted comfort even when he needed it. He couldn't rat out his friends.

Me and Bobby went to Reidsville beach with our church youth groupe one yr when we were 14...ill never forget how we ran in the sand at the waters edge from pier to pier....how we sang songs all day long and how he was so protective over me as his friend and wouldnt let anybody flirt with me or bother me...he was my little "HERO" and ill always love him for that...i miss you my friend but we will run in the sand at the waters edge again someday...😇😢

I will always remember Bobby as a very caring person. He never met a stranger and would make friends every where he went. He was one of my oldest friends. We went to the same schools, had same classrooms, same teachers rode same buses. He cared about his closest friends and loved his family and Dasiy Duke ( his rescued dog) he was SO PROUD of Dasiy . He loved sharing pictures of his home and he loved his roses. I'll miss you Bobby, your deed on earth is done, rest easy, fly high with those wings you earned. AND DANCE FOR OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.
