Condolences

Condolence From: Richard Kelly MD
Condolence: I only got to know Yancey briefly as his primary care physician at the VA. What I could see quickly is that he was a fine, kind man who drew me in with his engagement and gentleness. I would love to have spent many hours sitting and listening to the stories of what I'm sure was a remarkable life. My condolences to the family, and best wishes for the transition in your lives without him

Sincerely,

Richard Kelly

Condolence: We were sorry to hear of Mr. Jones' death. He & Mrs. Jones were always so nice to us and such Godly people. Mr. Jones will be missed but know he is in no pain and is now worshipping and glorifying God today. Mrs. Jones, you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this time of your loss.

Condolence: What a precious man of God Brother Jones was! His smile lit up the church, when I would go over and shake his hand and hug Sister Jones. He would always ask about someone in my family. They both are so dear, and so loved by our chuch members and friends. What a terrible loss for us, but a wonderful day of rejoicing in Heaven. Another Saint of God made it home. God is your comfort Sister Jones. We Love You!

Condolence From: Candy
Condolence: I have to share a few things about this wonderful man. I spent lots of time with pappow growing up. Since my mama was a single mother, mammow and pappow would help often with my sister and I. I remembered many weekend visits as I got older. Pappow would give Kristen, Kim, and I a quarter and we would walk up to the Country Food Store and spend it for candy or soda. I will not say how long ago that was, but we could get a small brown bag 1/2 full of candy with that quarter. I remember Sunday Church service and the tap on mammow's leg for a mint. Pappow always would get dry mouth and she would keep certs in her purse for him. Other memories were more recent. If you call or saw him, pappow would say over and over again, "you want to speak to your pretty mammow, or look how pretty your mammow is sitting beside me." Every year until this one, he would call on my birthday and sing to me. Oh, how wonderful that was. I will miss him with all my heart. I am thankful he didn't suffer. I will continue to pray for mammow during this hard time. I will ALWAYS be here if you need me mammow.
