Condolences

Condolence From: Tootie Ledbetter Hudson
Condolence: Patty and I grew up together as little girls at Black Mountain First Baptist Church when Wilbur Honeycutt was pastor and we both took piano lessons from Mrs. Honeycutt. We also attended grade school together and I would see her at her mom's beauty shop when I tagged along with my mom. Patty was always so sweet and very quiet. I admired her so much for her beauty and pretty clothes; she always looked perfect.

I remember how thrilled Patty was to see her friends again in 2010 as the Owen High School class of 1965 got together at the Blue Ridge Conference Center. She really enjoyed seeing everyone.

To Doug and Aunt Mary, I offer my deepest condolences and prayers for peace and comfort. Stanley Willett presented a service reassuring us of God's promise for FAITH, HOPE and LOVE. Thank you Doug for sharing your heart and your sweet memories. Stan and Tammy Willett, you were such good and faithful servants as you helped Patty so many times, not only with her dogs, but also in other personal ways...thank you so much. You represented the North Fork community in a beautiful way, but most importantly, you shared your love for Jesus Christ and honored Him as you helped Patty. I know that I should strive to be a much better neighbor.

We all know Patty is bowing at the feet of Jesus and enjoying the happy reunion with her beloved mom, dad and other family members and friends in Heaven. We will see you soon Patty.

Condolence: It is a shame that we have so little contact with people we shared much of our time with in past years. We get so busy with our own lives that we neglect to stay in touch. I have had no contact with Patty, other than to see her at reunions, since we were in school. We need to stay in touch with old friends as we are all running out of time. With sincere condolences to her family.

Condolence: I remember Patty and her mother Bea as we grew up in Black Mountain. She was always a cheerful and beautiful person who took great care of her mother. She will be missed. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry to miss her service, but will be our of town during that time.
