Condolence From: Gary Trotter

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. My brother, Norman, and I grew up without a father and often came into contact with Fred as we walked to town. Fred was our sponsor in the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and gave us a love of flying as well as a head start on the military. He was always upbeat and fun loving. He would tease and laugh frequently. We admired his humor and how kind he and Nancy were to be around. I have not seen Fred in recent years, but he will be missed and fondly remembered.
Norman joined the Navy and I entered the USAF in the mid-sixties. Fred's military training in the CAP helped us easily transition into the military. We will always remember Fred and what he did for us. Our condolences go out to Nancy and the family.
