Phyllis Jean Henning, 94, of Asheville passed away Friday, June 19, 2015.
Mrs. Henning transplanted in 1971 from Michigan. She was owner of B & H Machine and an active volunteer for Red Cross and the VA Hospital. Phyllis was a bowler for over 30 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Clemens; granddaughter, Robin Clemens; great grandson, Austin Martin; brother, Don Coleman; sister-in-law, Jolly Coleman; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Henning.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler, NC.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
